How Do I Meet and Serve People?

Woodland Baptist Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Woodland.

Bible Study

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason,Woodland has a great Sunday Bible Study for every age. Great truths can sometimes be learned in more intimate settings. We use Bible-based study material that is age appropriate.

Student Ministry

Each Sunday morning, students get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that everyone gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers is carefully screened and thoroughly trained in student instruction. The youth ministry of Woodland Baptist are recognized for their close interaction in Bible study.

Young Adults

Life can get complicated once you cross that nebulous threshold into adulthood. There are complicated decisions. Bigger stakes. Serious relationships. And a whole lot more decisions. The young adult group of Woodland provides a welcoming atmosphere for learning “right where they live”. This is an ever growing ministry and needs your help to continue to expand.

Married Couples

Even though marriage is one of the most important institutions, it is the one which is under the most attack–internally and externally. Woodland Baptist Church gives married couples the opportunity to grow together in Bible study. Special Sunday evening classes are being planned that will meet the specific needs of growing families.

“XYZ”-ers (Extra Years of Zest) – HELP Program
